San Diego Grantmakers is excited to offer an upcoming national webinar on the topic “When Disaster Strikes: Strategies for Corporate Involvement." This webinar will from 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM Pacific Time.
Dan Ludwig, DHL, SVP Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Management, and Stephen Jordan, SVP and Executive Director, Business Civic Leadership Center of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will discuss corporate disaster relief preparation and short/long-term recovery. As a bonus, participants will be able to share and receive hurricane procedures, toolkits, etc. during the webinar.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:
Preparing for a Disaster: Employees, Charitable Budget, Customers, Building Relationships
Short-term Recovery: Government vs. Nonprofit Efforts, Effective Use of Dollars
Long-term Recovery: Capacity Building Needs, Effective Use of Dollars, Evaluation
