Guest Speaker:

  • Margaret M. Coady, Program Manager, Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP)

The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) mission is to lead the business community in raising the level and quality of corporate community investment. They are a consortium of CEOs and Chairpersons who understand that community investment is a necessary component of any sustainable business plan. In partnership with over 150 leading companies, they have collected and analyzed detailed data on nearly $50 billion in corporate social investment.

As a starting point for our interactive discussion on emerging trends, Program Manager Margaret Coady will present an in-depth look at how corporate giving is changing, as well as address specific issues such as matching gifts, volunteerism, international giving, and staffing.

A few of your SDG colleague members recently attended the CECP Corporate Philanthropy Summit – where former President Bill Clinton, Andre Agassi and Katie Couric were speakers. But we hear that the real star of their show is the information that Margaret will share with us!

For more information about CECP: http://www.corporatephilanthropy.org/
