- Mark Shamley, President, Association of Corporate Contributions Professionals
Your fellow SDG member Ed Wallace from Sony Electronics is on the board of The Association of Corporate Contributions Professionals (ACCP) -- an advocacy, information and continuing education organization open only to corporate contributions, community relations and employee volunteerism managers. http://www.accprof.org/.
Ed is kindly joining with SDG to bring the new ACCP President Mark Shamley into town to share insights and practical support for you. Please join us for a casual, interactive discussion among peers.
We will touch on:
- Trends and issues that corporate giving staff should have on their radar -- including disclosure and reporting; funding dinners & events; emphasis on volunteerism; and community development.
- Strategies for companies to use to help them effectively manage their corporate giving programs with limited resources. What best practices from multi-national companies really do apply to small, medium and regional companies?
- How ACCP structures its programs and services to address the needs of the professional corporate giving officer.
