Women Give’s focus is on changing systemic deficiencies to close the wage gap and level
the economic fields so that women are provided with choices that didn’t exist before, the
opportunity to attend college and to gain the ability to earn, save, and invest. Women Give
will fund programs in San Diego County that increase women’s incomes and build assets that
break the cycle of generational poverty. Women Give will invest in organizations engaged in
job creation and training, access to higher education, enterprise development and policy
advocacy. As the organization evolves and grows, Women Give will expand their funding to
a broader base of issues affecting women and girls in San Diego.
