| Overview: |
Based on recent work TCC Group has performed for several corporate clients, this presentation focuses on the growing interest in nonprofit capacity building among corporate funders. Some corporate grantmakers are taking this approach in light of challenging economic times and reduced budgets, while others believe capacity building is just a smart, strategic way to leverage corporate assets and knowledge and had started moving in this direction before the current economic crisis hit. This webinar will provide an overview of why capacity building is a good fit for corporate funders and the different approaches and models that can be applied based on varying budgets, staffing and strategic goals. A case study of Gap Inc.’s new capacity building program will also be presented. PRESENTERS: THOMAS W.
